Because shortsboi my good lady isn't into naturism so frowned upon my suggestion of getting naked.  She did join me eventually but won't walk around naked, not even in the house with the curtains closed and doors locked.  Frustrating isn't the word. But now I've found this site I'm able to show her the pinned post. We'll see what happens.

You may find problems with your water quality or foaming in your tub water if you don't rinse off the clothes that you wear in the tub extremely well before getting in the tub. Which is why most people tub naked. I won't let anyone with clothes on in our tub, after all you don't have a bath or shower with clothes on do you?

Whilst I appreciate its good practice to remove clothes in a hot tub, and to also shower before getting in as this washes of excess natural body oil,  the filters are required to be changed every couple of days, so I change the filters twice and then empty, clean and refill the tub, so the detergents and shampoos aren't really an issue.  As for you Valleyman, you'd be welcome, but the tub wont be available now until next year.  As it's inflatable we have to put it away over the winter due to the possibility of it becoming to brittle and splitting.  If anybody is thinking about buying a hot tub though, these are a good, inexpensive, way of finding out how much you'll use it.  Ill let you know when the tub is out again.  😉

This does sound like fun and something I could explore in my own garden before venturing out to a short break in a lodge - this could be my new goal - I need to start somewhere ha ha

I was trying to avoid posting here, (I have far too much to say about hot tubs apparently  :-[)  But.... I have to say they are amazing and a great way to relax naked in the garden even when it's cold.  I wouldn't dream of wearing anything in ours but its in a nice secluded place with lots of privacy.  It's very addictive and lots of fun.  Go for it Molly, I'm sure you'd love it  🙂

For those that have bought Hot Tubs; have you any advice on which ones are best and any good reliable suppliers?

We are thinking of getting one to use the surplus power from our solar panels next summer.  There is already a dual 13amp outside socket near where we would want to put it.

Size wise, big enough for up to 4 people would suit us.
