We were in our mid 20's and running a very busy pub in Dorset, we had arranged a few days off and asked one of our friends if he would like to join us as he was on leave. He then asked one of our barmaids if she would like to accompany him.
We decided to go camping near Corfe Castle and he brought his speedboat along. The first morning we woke to a fantastic day and decided to take the boat to Studland and motor along the beach to a quieter spot.
We pulled into the beach and got out all oblivious to our surroundings.
Once we had hauled our picnic and beach gear up the beach to a nice spot near the sand dunes, we settled down. Suddenly Someone said, eveyone around us is naked, we all looked and sure enough they were, it was then the girls who said, well do we leave or join them, and with that our barmaid said well I'm up for it and stripped off, followed by my wife and then reluctantly by myself and friend.
Once the initial feeling had passed we felt quite normal and ended up using that beach for the rest of the week. We even had a number of our other bar staff come over to join us.
Since then we have visited numerous beaches on holiday and in this country and brought our children up in that lifestyle. They now have their own children who just see it as natural as most children do to strip off when on a beach or even if they are hot in the right place.
If you want to try but feel worried that everyone will stare at you or point you out, don't worry, nobody who is a naturist even notices you are naked and anyone who isn't feels more awkward than you do. You will soon relax and find it the most liberating thing you have done.

Hi Simon
Yes it was and it introduced a few people into the naturist lifestyle, it certainly changed our life.
We met some 'accidental naturists' once many years ago. They were an English couple who were holidaying in Languedoc and found themselves at Marseillan and then innocently walked along the beach and suddenly found themselves amongst the Cap d'Agde naturists. They told us they looked at each other, shrugged and took off their clothes and thoroughly enjoyed it. We met them again a few times over the following years holidaying in the naturist resort.

Always good to hear of people embracing it and continuing to enjoy not just a one off.
