It is so many years ago but it still is an important day, because I found other like minded folks for the 1st time in my life.
I had seen Carry On films and that was the only thing I had ever heard of regarding "Nudist Colonies"and naturism. However, on a school trip where I was a member of staff at 23, and being hosted by the PE teacher, she and her husband informed me that they had a beach house and went there every summer weekend. They invited me to it, explaining that they were naturists and went on the local beach. I found this intriguing and so agreed to go to the beach.
Once there, grandma, grandpa, they and their 2 children all stripped off and got comfy, playing or sitting and chatting nude. I was alone dressed, and so I stripped off after a few moments of wondering what to do. I ran into the sea and stayed there until I must have been blue! Finally I came out and enjoyed an "al fresco pique nique".
On my return I told my husband of my experience and he asked me what I wanted to do about it. I realised at that point that he was also interested and so we talked. He had heard of a magazine called H &E. We decided to go finding one. This experience was also quite intriguing because upon asking, we were very often dismissed with a knowing look. Finally in the Bus Station of our local town we were directed to the "top shelves" to purchase out mag.
The rest is history. We joined BN, went to local swims, club open days and went on holidays with Peng Travel. I have never looked back and consider myself fortunate that this happened to me as young as I was because I have enjoyed decades of this lifestyle.
Nothing is forgotten, nothing is ever forgotten.
yep, seriously lucky
I really should have been born on a tropical island
