Off to NZ in March. Has anyone any experience of nudist beaches there?

Only one - go on the fery from Auckland to Waiheke Island. Catch the bus at the ferry terminal to Little palm Beach. The naturist section is at the far end. Warm sea and sand and a little cafe nearby.

See here and also here which is the New Zealand naturist federaions 2Gonatural" site.

We've also stayed at Naturist Clubs in Auckland, Wellington and just our=tside Christchurch. Great value for money and you get to meet the locals.

I hope this helps and I'm green with envy at the thought of you going to NZ.

Yes! Plenty of opportunities to visit nude beaches both official and unofficial. Waitata Bay in the Bay of Islands is our favourite.

Back from New Zealand. Didn't manage to get to an official beach, but did go down a long gravel road to Hendersons Beach which is popular with surfers. They go right from the car park, i went left and found a sheltered spot not visible from the car park. As it was so warm and sunny i just had to strip nude and get the feel of the sun on my nude body if only for a short time.
