During my time in the Army I was stationed in Germany. My room mate once asked if I wanted to accompany him to the "lakes" one sunny day. I asked him what, why, where etc and he said it was a nice place to go with a wooded area and a lake where loacals go nude to relax, swim and generally enjoy the sun.
I was a little hesitant at being asked by a fellow male squaddie but he assured me he had been a naturist all his life and felt after sharing a room with me for months he trusted me enough for me to know about it.
We went along to the lakes and enjoyed a couple of hours in the sun, chatting to the locals both young and old. The memory stayed with me for years of how relaxed and friendly it was to be in nature as natural as can be.
