My life has rather been changed these last 6 weeks. I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. 4 weeks ago I had awake crainial surgery and back home 3 weeks ago.

Start chemo and radio therapy next week.

My favourite place in the whole wide world is Studland beach on a warm and suuny day.

I always parked before the ferry, then walked around to the beach. Now it is too far for me. So I wonder how I can still enjoy Studland.

Are there National Trust parking spaces close to the naturist section?

Any other solution?

Thanks TS

there's NT parking at north & south end of the beach but quite long walk to the nude section - about same as walking through from the roadside parking

I really should have been born on a tropical island

Sorry to learn of your recent trials; here's hoping that all turns out well.

I know that the NT used to have disabled parking spaces available in the main carpark and a limited number of beach capable wheelchairs available for hire or loan. A quick search (isn't Google great?) turned up this information (Click "Facilities and access" then "Accessibility"). It looks like they can still loan wheelchairs, but I would contact them first to see if you can reserve one, rather than drive down and discover that you are stuck close to the car park.

Have fun,

Ian.

It's never too late to have a happy childhood.

I can't help you with an answer to your question, but I can wish you the very best of luck with your treatment.

Thanks for your best wishes. Start chemo and radio on Monday , every day for next six weeks.

Looks like a an electric fat trike will be the solution. Like this but with added electric motor.

I understand from a relation that the radio and chemo become more tolerable with time. I do hope you don't have too many side-effects.

As for that trike! Far too much snow in that film for a naturist 🙂
