I keep coming across references to nude walking under various topics on this forum, which suggests it is enjoyed by many on here. I am referring to what you might call 'freestyle' walking, rather than as part of an organised group.
I did some nude walking myself, years ago, mostly in the Wiltshire countryside, but found it fraught with challenges, mainly to do with avoiding people and avoiding possible arrest!
So it would be useful to hear from anyone who has positive experiences to report and can offer some useful tips.

Bug protection!!!!
I went for a walk in a nearby forest last week and was made to feel like lunch. Didn't feel much while I was out but it now looks like I'm covered in love bites from a walrus.
Cheers

Avon skin so soft works well
I walk in remote areas where I can see people coming. If I can't see what they are wearing they should not be able to see what I'm not. Get hold of good OS maps preferably 25,000 and plan out routes avoids popular areas and farms etc. It's also worth while downloading legal advice form the Bn site.
Enjoy your walks.

First thing to do is recce the route clothed. We do lots of rambling and I'm always on the lookout for walks that would bear repeating naked.
Do you see many - any - other people around; it's surprising how few people go for a walk in the countryside. Are there many houses along the way where you might be seen? Roads that you'd have to cross (no reason not to walk, just be ready to cover up) or roads alongside your route (unless you're actually walking along the road you probably won't be seen anyway, as drivers are too interested in watching the road to look at what's happening in adjacent fields).
I've met people a few times and never had any problems. Reactions range from smiles to scowls but most country walkers have better things to do than call the police.

I've joined these guys on their naturist walks. We've very rarely met anyone else, but their policy is non-confrontational and a quick cover up garment is always kept to hand in case the "textile" call goes up. Definitely worth joining them for a walk if you can make it and there's always safety in numbers as well.
I love nude walking but wish there was more places around the Worcester/Kidderminster area. I manage a few walks but would love to find more.
I love an all over tan
Thanks for the advice, folks. I have been thinking about joining the nude ramblers on one of their walks, so will probably give it a try.
