I took advantage of the good weather today to go on a longer walk. After about 3 miles I came across a forestry commission van with a couple of guys near it. As I haven't met these 2 before I put my wrap on before they saw me. As I approached I asked them what they were doing, one of them immediately said your wearing a skirt. This is the opening I love because it gives me the opportunity to say Its not a skirt its a wrap and I don't usually wear it unless I encounter someone I don't know. Back came the usual answer we don't care you don't need to cover up for us, so off came the wrap. A conversation them began about naturism and one of them knew about Stephen Gough and spoke in support of him, he said he has seen all of the documentaries and he thinks he should be left alone. One of them said the other would probably like to join me so I gave them some information about how to find out more and went on my way. At this point I was on the cycle track but there was no one else around. I soon encountered 5 bird watchers on the bridge over the river so I stopped and talked to them. One said he felt over dressed in the heat and I said I was even though I was only wearing a wrap because I don't wear anything unless I meet someone I don't know, again a conversation about naturism which went well. As I left one of the guys said you might meet more people further up the cycle path. I thanked him then let him know I have been walking that path naked for over 45 years. A lady on a bike came up behind me and said hello as she passed. I saw very few people on the cycle path today so stayed on it for much further than I usually do, I didn't take the more difficult route off the cycle path that I sometimes take.

I had a very enjoyable 5 hour 15 mile walk without any problems and I am posting it here http://my.viewranger.com/track/details/MzEwNjQ2OQ

For anyone else who might like to use it.

Again I applause your efforts in keeping this area accessible for naturists.

I will get there, one day...

If you're a couple in the Midlands and are under 50...say hi.

I went for a 5 mile naked walk today, temperature was only 5 degrees C but there was no wind and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Days like this are relatively rare and with the leaves that are left glowing red in the sun and the crisp feel of the air it was a very special experience.
Three days ago I discovered that the little pond that has been dried up for years had a couple of feet of water in it, so far it seems to be holding. I met a young woman while out who said she thought she had seen a nuddie walker in the distance. I saw her first just before our paths crossed so I had my wrap on. I told her that she had and it was me. she just laughed so I asked her if it bothered her that I walk naked. she told me it did not bother her at all, so I took my wrap off and continued to chat with her for a little while. She told me that she walks the area regularly but had not seen me before. I let her know that the people who have go to know me usually just give me a wave when they see me in the distance. She bid me have a lovely walk and said she would give me a wave if she sees me again. I have met several ladies out walking alone in the last month or so and none of them have appeared in the least bit concerned that I walk naked. Same goes for the men I have talked to.

Hopefully the weather is improving, now, and the days are getting longer, again, so there'll be more opportunities for enjoying nature naturally.

I have tried walking in the past as i have said before on here, I did encounter a lady at the last minute and she just made a comment as i walked away that made me blush. I suppose it is just holding your nerve at the end of the day with just a wrap round you. I really enjoyed the feeling of walking without clothes. Must look out some better walks this year as last time I went it was flooded with dog walkers. sadly i can only use a push bike to get to places as stopped from driving ill health, yes and they let me go out on a pushbike, I know its mad.......
