There are NO naturist beaches in Spain. Due to Spanish law you can be naked on almost any beach. There are a few places were nudity is prohibited and this is how it should be.
The sign on the beach gives an accurate description stating the beach has a naturist tradition.
It makes no sense to call a Spanish beach a "nudist beach" or "naturist beach". It makes much more sense to say a beach is used by naturists.
So back to Boadella. I was outraged that some vandal had drawn on the beach plan, putting a line through it and marking a small area as "nudist". I didn't have a pen so couldn't fix this. But due to this, textiles had taken over main part of the beach and the ever obedient naturists were crammed into the made up "nudist" section.
Naturists need to take a stand a protect our already small number of places. If someone is going to this beach can you take a marker to fix the sign and don't get shunned into a corner of the beach.
Also can we look out for this kind of thing at other beaches and fight it.
