Stayed a night at Speilplatz camping last week (first time there) - working away near London so decided to see what Speilplatz was like. Great to park up (just near the swimming pool) to unload the car, stripped of first and then erected the tent. Drove the car back to the car park (nude naturally) and then walked back to the tent. Not many people there even though it was a warm sunny evening (I guess all the day visitors left a while ago), and quite a few locals must have returned to the huts for dinner. Good swimming pool and loos clean. Did have a walk around the site, and as expected clear that many huts needed some TLC, what surprised me was 1- apart from the area around the pool / club house, everything else was huts - no woodland walk areas (I was looking forward to taking a walk though what I thought would be a few acres of woodland, 2- people weren't that friendly - not hostile, but not very welcoming - even in the club house (but even there - there were only 3 people all watching TV).

Very quite night for sleeping (great), and since its a nudist village, no issues with having to don clothes for a pee after you've settled down for the night. Since I had to leave early, it was also great to be able pack-up the tent nude, load the car up and drive home (160 miles) nude and naturally at home also nude. So great to be able to stay nude  at one place and not have to get dressed again at all to get home. (I've stayed at other nudist places but car park areas are often in public (e.g. Clover Spa) so you have to get dressed to get to the car and then strip again!

On reflection Speilplatz was not what I expected (especially at this time of year), but a very pleasant place to camp and suspect a lot better if you spent the whole day there, and the camping price is very good £20 for the night all in!

If working in West Birmingham or Wolverhampton you might try Telford Naturist Club.

Thanks John - I've book marked it, looks good. I don't often work that way (normally work from home), UK head office is near London, but do on occasions visit customers in Wales and areas around Birmingham (hence the occasional stay at Clover Spa). Next time my plans fit in (and the weather allows) - I'll try it, (or just go anyway - 23 acres of wood land sounds great!) - my local wood (1/2 mile from home) has some good areas for natural (nude) walking, but soon gets overgrown - main paths are frequently used by dog walkers.
