Just got back from a family holiday in a villa in Pefkos. My grand daughter didn't care much for the beach at Pefkos, too pebbly at the waters edge so we spent most of the time at Lindos.
I rechecked the info on Captain Barefoot and decided to walk North from the beach to see if the captains info is still valid. I noted that the beach is still there but it is a long downhill trek and then of the trek back uphill in 30+C temperatures was not for me.
I walked up the beach and found the coastal path which stretched for miles. A scan of the horizon and I realised I had the path to myself. Off came the shorts and I spent a pleasant couple of hours walking along the path to a derelict windmill where I stopped for a rest before returning back to Lindos beach, about 45 minutes each way.
The next day was a diffent story with several others on the path, they were all knitted out with fell boots on! I wondered if they were doing that to make a walk over flat terrain a bit harder to do?
I just kept my distance and carried on walking.
Stressed when dressed
Not clear if on the next day you still did the walk nude or not.
That to the side, coastal walks especially on a warm / hot sunny day without clothes for such a time must be great - only done nude beach walking or inland walks.
Anyway sounds great.
I was naked both days but did the usual cover up if someone was coming in the opposite direction. I usually carry a bag to put water and clothes in so I adopt the bag in from of me method of covering up which seems to work well enough.

I’m in Pefkos, Rhodes this week and I’ve discovered a track that runs from the north end (Lindos side) near the Pink Floyd villa. It is access to a few houses but then at a dead end you can walk across craggy rocky fields atop the cliffs. Walking north in the direction of Lindos. There’s no one around except a couple of fishermen right down in the rocks yesterday.
A great secluded spot to sit and take in the rays or have a naked wander.
