I had never considered myself a naturist in my youth but it was in me from an early age. I never saw any of my family naked so I don't know why I enjoyed being naked. I always took forever to get dressed and when old enough to be left alone, I put keys in the locks so I had time to get dressed without getting caught without the family bursting in.

Once I got married, it was great to be able to be naked in the company of my wife but even then it wasn't for long periods and usually after a shower or getting up in he morning and not bothering for a while.

Fast forward 10 years to a holiday in the Vendee region of France with our kids and my wife's sister's family. On our way to the village from the campsite we passed the sign for the naturist beach. After several days, I said to my wife that I would love to go skinny dipping. To my great surprise, she said she would love to do it too. For the rest of the time we were there, we tried to get an excuse to get away ourselves for a few hours but just couldn't do I, they always wanted to stick together. We didn't want them to know at this time where we were going. In another post they were the ones I thought would be accepting but weren't.

Anyway, as soon as I got home, I started hunting this new fangled interweb thing at 28.8kbp, blazing fast or what? I found Sunnybroom in Aberdeen had a swim on the first Saturday of the month and contacted them to arrange a visit.

After a very nervous hour long drive in near silence, (can't believe how scared we were) we arrived and met up with in the car park.
About twenty of us went into the same changing room and they all stripped off so we looked at each other and did the same. It was strange back then  to see people who knew each other well, hugging and kissing naked, something we take for granted now. You're friends saying hello, it's normal, you just happen to be naked.

Then it was through to the pool and in we went.

Wow, I never new swimming nude was so enjoyable. After that, we were hooked and the rest is history.

I've heard that the Sunnybroom swim is no longer happening? Is this true as I would like to attend with my wife, if I can persuade her.

Hi DnD
The pool they used to have the swim in has closed down so the swim has stopped for now. I'm sure I read somewhere that they had found another pool in Bridge of Don but I can't locate the source of that at the moment.
The club itself still has it's landed site out near Alford.

It's a lovely quiet and relaxing place but it is closed now for the winter. We haven't been members of it for quite a while now.

We go to the swim in Glasgow at the Arlington Baths on a Sunday night. It's a weekly swim. The crowd there are great, very friendly and there are a good number of women there who will make your wife feel at home.

We also live in Dundee and it takes about an hour and a quarter to get there. It's just off the M8, the junction before the one you take for the Hydro/SECC. Give them a try, I'm sure you'll love it.

You also need to nip over to Tentsmuir, loads of space to get naked with no one about and great on a sunny day. We are mad enough to run into the North Sea even at this time of year, occasionally, for a laugh, when it's quiet although never usually get the water above the knees though, lol.
