Intending to visit Sal Island, Cape Verde and will be staying near Santa Maria. Internet search says that there are no naturist beaches there, but from the map it looks as if there are stretches of beach away from the hotels. Has anyone been there and managed to be nude on the beach?

Forgot to reply to my own posting. There was some nudity on the beach and in the dunes area behind the hotel I was staying in, so managed to get some nude sunbathing in.

Interesting to hear of your experience.

I have also tried a few times to research and find out if there is any opportunity for relaxing au naturel in Cape Verde. But - until now - without success.

Which hotel did you stay at and how far did you have to walk to locate naturists? Presumably only a handful of nuddies?

Was there any opportunity to swim naked?
