Is it any good, can we drive and park near beach.? Lots of questions would like to know more if anyone has any ideas. I will report back after we have been to a naturist beach in Spain. Hope we have some good reports for you all.

La Marina beach is wonderful.  Miles of golden sand.  There are three carparking areas serving the beach, easiest is just before the campsite coming from the Guardamar end.  There are two bars down there called Costa21 and Rivingtons.  Both good.  Park there and and walk down the boardwalk and turn right on the beach. We will be there tomorrow.  Sue and Mike

Thank you and Mike, I have been looking on Google Earth, the road you suggest as a barrier followed by a walk to beach. Is this the best way? There is another road which let's you drive straight to beach where there is a car park and I think two restaurants. It's nice to know other naturist especially those which come from Manchester as that is near to us. Hope we can keep in touch and keep one another informed on other naturist areas.

Yes, the barrier is for emergency services.  There is a carpark before the barrier.  It’s a nice walk down the boardwalk and the bars are good.  The other way is to look on google earth and follow the Segura River to the sea.  On the northern bank there is a carpark that is accessible down a dirt road.  There is a boardwalk from this carpark which splits, left “nudista” right “textile”.  We were there today, was a little breezy so had a wind break.  There is another excellent beach at Gran Alicant called Carabassi.  Sue and Mike

Yes I have been on carabassi, not many naturist, lots of textiles and lots of gay sexual activity which my wouldn't like.
You mentioned following the segara river. I was thinking of the other road further north when I mentioned driving all the way to beach. Still we will find out when we get there. Are you there for long, on holiday I mean? We hope you have a nice time,

You are best to stay out of the dunes on the hill side.  The Casabarri beach towards the Santa Pola end rather than Alicante end is less textile.  Yes we are here for a few weeks, although weather is a little unstable, mix of sun and clouds.

I saw what goes on at carabassi beach, which is why we are looking for somewhere better. La marina seems to be the best so far.
The weather there now is set to improve so you should have a good holiday. I don't mind cold but wife is always cold, so had to be warm when we arrive.
Have you been to any other beaches in other countries!

Where we go at carabassi beach there are no issues, but if you had a bad expereince best to give it a miss.  Sure you would find the same at La Marina if you stray off the main drag.  Also tried some beaches on the Costa Calida and Costa del Sol.  There are beaches north of Alicante up towards Denia but not got to visit those yet. Other beaches have been in Canaries, Greece. California and Caribbean plus Wales lol.

We use Cabrassi beach,we use car park at far end of naturist beach and just walk naked to beach through sand dunes.Yes like a lot of naturist beaches with sand dunes activity goes on gives naturism a bad name.
Also use La marina and park vehicle near river and just walk naked to beach.enjoy the waves when wind gets up.
have also gone naked a bit further towards Alicante just past all hotels.
are you there middle of May. we stay at grand Alicant.

Keep On Smiling:)

yes i have been to carabassi naturist section of beach, lots of sexual activity in dunes, not many nudist and lots of textiles. wife would not appreciate the sex activity and as it will be her first time. best kept away.
la marina beach seems to be best, but was not sure which would be best place to park. you seem to favour river side, others prefer the other side. we are coming to spain in july, if i cant get away befor then.we have our own villa. but not on gran alicant.
la marina appears to have a fence between dunes and beach which could hopefully protect her from the sex side.
enjoy your holiday. perhaps in future we will be able to coordinate our holidays and meet up.

South of Alicante the best locations are at the end of the runway at Alicante (as mentioned by Sunshinekid), Caribassi and La Marina.  There are some very secluded beaches further south on the way to Cartagena or you could try El Portus.  We don’t really know the beaches N of Alicante on way up to Denia through Benidorm etc but there are plenty listed on the web.
