I am thinking about the warm weather and how I might try new experiences.(We have never been into visiting holiday camps or holidaying in hotels, we even dislike crowded campsites and beaches)
I am starting to contemplate the idea of joining the Naturist Ramblers for some of their walks.
I wonder if there is by any chance a Dorset Naturist Ramblers group?
At the present I am slightly apprehensive of the Naturist Ramblers due to how far away the walks are, also I feel unsure about the  notion of social naturism.
I am still confidence building, but don`t wish to just be naked at home or on the beach.
There will be a moment when I know I will simply do it, rather than worry.

Being naked is one of the simple joys of life.

Brian, I do a lot of rambling, much of it textile with non-naturist friends, and I use those walks to scout out areas that offer nude-walking opportunities. I've found that weekends tend to be fairly crowded in the countryside (Sunday more so than Saturday) but weekdays I can have miles of countryside to myself. On the odd occasion. When I've bumped into someone unexpectedly there has never been a problem, which as you'll see from other rambling threads on NC is the common experience. Be warned, though, naked rambling can be addictive!!

Thanks PJ, I suppose I am fearful of being misunderstood if I should meet some one.I have already sorted out a walk plan, suppose I just need the weather to do it!

It very compulsive. By some members standards my free-range walking is minimal but I've managed a couple of walks, one locally and the other last week up in the Peak District and across the open moor of Cheeks Hill. There was no-one about, there was a bit of a chilly breeze and the air temperature between 8 10 deg.C. It was exhilarating.

I did take some pictures but then somehow I found I'd lost my camera. I searched for it but to no avail. If someone finds it they'll find half a dozen pics of a naked Davie plus some of various hills. Fortunately it was an older camera that I had with me as I'd be less concerned about loss or damage. I've already replaced via ebay.

Maybe we should organise a NC search party?

I'd say give the Naturist Ramblers a go. At least contact them for details and ask how the walk may be shortened if you find them a bit too long.

Although I'm not a member of any rambling club and wouldn't entertain the idea of joining a clothed club, walking through the country side naked is a great experience and I do it when I can but I'm always conscious of how people may react when they see me and it does spoil the walk somewhat, so a group of naked walkers together changes the perception of possibly this loan pervert to making it acceptable - so I would suggest joining a club, but if you and your wife both go on a naked hike together I don't see there would be an issue. I do recommend getting some path finders maps, and picking times when families will not be about i.e. walk in school time - about 10am I find is the best, or on those hot sunny nights with a full moon, night walking is great (not good for pictures though).

Sorry to hear you have lost your camera, have you checked your pockets?
