What fantastic weather in dorset!! Drove down to Knoll car park and cashed in on the National trust pass. Free parking all day.
After a quick visit to the beach side cafe for a caffeine fix, we made what seemed like an epic journey past all the sardine style textiles.
We finally made it. There were thousands of naturists. Compared to previous equally warm days at Studland, this seemed like a fantastic increase in people shedding their clothes for the sake of freedom and more importantly that feeling of sun on the whole body.
The male female mix was remarkably balanced and..... We were not the youngest there either. Hooray for young people!!! Guys and girls in their twenties. Young families with their cheeky monkies. Saturday was an epic day for naturism. Once our first born arrives (mid august) im sure there will be some beach fun come 2018. Already organising a family beach holiday with some spanish friends and family in preparation.
Currently enjoying the peace and tranquility of a clothes free breakfast in the garden with the squirrels and birds.
Happy Fathers day guys and the incredible single parent Girls who do an incredible job
I was at Studland yesterday. I drove past Knoll House and parked relatively close to the path that leads directly to the naturist beach. ( Jerry's Point bus stop ). I also was delighted with the mix of people there, specially the large age range, from 20+ to old wrinklies like me !! I'll be back there later today and hope it is just as delightful. Naturism is alive and well in Dorset. Hooray !!
How i envy you i can't even get naked in my garden to overlooked and my son is here but tomorrow i will go out by a river and get naked and in a couple of weeks hope to be at studland beech as i will be going to a camping show in the new forest then studland can't wait
I spent a few hours on Studland beach again today. It was wonderful. More people than yesterday ( Saturday) . Again a very pleasing number of couples, many more than I remember in the past. Long may it continue.
I hope to get down there on the 2nd july taking my non naturist friend she knows that i like to get naked and this will be her first time i don't think she will get naked it will be the first time she will see me naked
Went today lovely weather , great setting ,lots of people there of varying ages. Good parking and nice cafe too.
Are you able to go to the cafe nude? We're going there for the first time on Monday (wife and I).
I also have some questions about; I am staying in Bournemouth.
- The last time I was in that part of the world it was the number 50 bus that served Studland. Would I be right in thinking that if I ask to be dropped at the National Trust, Studland that I would be in the right place?
- When at the cafe, do I turn left or right to get to the promised land?
- What is the cafe like? My previous experiences of National Trust places are that they are very expensive, and not a wide choice of food.
- Are there other options in the village of Studland (fish and chip shop/ greasy spoon will do for me? Is it a long way from the beach to the village?
Thanks for your help.
If you are wrapped up in yourself, then you are overdressed!
I am quite open to meeting other folks at organised nude venues that are within my reach financially and socially.

think you will find cafe is in the nt house property. but the ice cream van is on the naturist beach and last time i went there the wall ice cream boat stop't regularly along the shore line
The café is a fairly long way from The naturist section of the beach, so no it isn't possible to go there nude. The food is ok there but nothing special. If you catch the 50 bus, the best place to get off is Jerry's Point. It's the first stop after the bus goes thru the toll gate.
Your fare covers the ferry. It's about a 10/12 min walk to the beach from there, and you come out in the centre of the naturist section, close to the ice cream van. Studland village is a couple of miles from the beach. I don't know of any eating places apart from The Bankes Arms pub. You will have to ask to find it.
