Does anyone know of any naturist walks taking place in the Brecon Beacons?

I'd be interested too if there's one after the August Bank holiday as we're there on the Tuesday

Presumably by "safe routes" you mean places where you're unlikely to encounter anyone. Have a look at the various threads here on naked rambling, 'getting caught', and the like, and you'll find that encounters are rarely something to worry about, though I think none of us go out looking to meet textiles!

The best thing is to find your own routes - times of day and week play a large part, when most people are at work/school, and away from dog-walking hours are the most private. Try a route a couple of times while dressed and see if anyone else is around, and check out where roads and houses have to be taken into account.

Depending where it is, I've found I can go for miles on what appear to be well-trod paths and not meet a soul, leaving me to enjoy nature as nature intended.

fields37,

Well, I would definitely be interested in some naturist walks in the Beacons. I definitely like the sunshine when walking naked - so from my point of view it is getting a bit too cool at this time of year. I might emerge from hibernation on a sunny day next April...

Oh I remember the Brecon Beacons as a training area.  One of the things they did to us was to drop us off one by one at odd points along the way in at night and leave us to make our way to the camp.  No maps or compass, simulating having arrived by parachute after baling out of the aircraft.  One felt somewhat lonely plodding along in the dark

I have fond memories of yomping around the beacons, I still have my Danner boots with the soles worn out mainly from the beacons and black mountains.
