We visited La Petite Brenne in September originally for only a couple of nights as we were heading South to the Dordogne, we loved it so much that we cut our Southern holiday short and went back for the last week of our holiday. There is so much space to relax, walk or just to chill out. The site is Dutch owned but speak very good English and they are very welcoming. There are several marked walks around the site and there's no need to get dressed to do them. There's 2 swimming pools, one indoor and the other outdoor, both I'm afraid too cold for us at that time of year although several people were swimming, there's a big sauna too, usually a meeting point before tea time. They do lovely meals in the bar which is a great place to meet people as well. Overall we loved it there and already planning on going back next year

We stayed there at the end of August / early September - our second visit - and really enjoyed it again. If the weather is right it is indeed a smashing location - we were blessed with hot sunshine during our stay. 🙂
We must have been there the first time at the same time as you, we arrived on 3rd September, then left on 5th

Just checking and I see we in fact left La Petite Brenne on 1 September, so just missed you. We were there for five nights towards the end of a summer tour in our camper. Some of the days there were scorching, as I recollect.
