in 1995 i moved to kos island in greece, where after finding a place to live and work i decided to find beaches that the tourists did not use,,,, after a couple of weeks i found a stretch of beach in faros that had no facilities and was a drive away from the closest resort.....the first day, between 3 and 6 (that was my break from chefing in a local restaurant) there i stayed covered to see who else used the beach....mostly local greeks and tourist that happened to come across it....by about 4.30 most of the beach was deserted,, out of no where 3 seperate men in different areas of the beach went for a swim naked.... so i thought do as the locals do and went for a dip with my trunks on....after a few minutes i took off my trunks (still in the water)....what a feeling!!!!!...so with trunks wrapped around my hand i had a lovely swim,,,, then it was time to get out....had to be back at work by 6... with trunks still in hand i walked up the beach naked.....how fantastic it felt....
the next day i went back to faros and had already decided to lay on the beach naked, after finding a covered area i disrobed... and just sat there....nobody noticed so i laid down...after many minutes in 50'c it was cool off time so i walked down to the sea without trunks and swam........after several more trips to faros i was there from 3 till 6 naked, walking, swimming and sun bathing... i think in the 5 years of being there i never spoke to anyone or was near to another naked person, we all had our spots and that was that......15 years later after being naked at home and in areas where i cannot be seen i feel it is time to meet other who enjoy the naturist experience.....
