For me this beach is special because it is utterly relaxed and truly clothing optional.  Though it is unofficially divided into mainly textile and mainly nude areas no one minds if you stray into the wrong zone.  Everyone just accepts everyone else no matter what part of the beach they are on.  Why can't all beaches be like that.  This beach is ideal for a first time or for a couple where one partner is shy; there is no perceptible pressure to dress or undress.

When we stayed in Corfu we were based in San Stephanos (North) which has a large beach with a C/O part at one end again with no clear division and though I stayed in the naturist area I did see one lady go to the "textile" area naked and no-one seemed to care.  Nearby is Arillas beach which has a nice naturist part which I can really recommend.  For Greek Islands generally it is worth checking "Captain Barefoot's Guide" before going on holiday, it is not always up to date.  The Greeks and other tourists are usually tolerant about discrete nudity on quieter beaches so play it by ear at the time.
