Speaking to one of the locals recently, I discovered that there is an unofficial nudists beach along an area called Tregirls beach, between Hawkers Cove and Harbour Cove.
This is on the opposite side to Rock on the Camel Estuary.
The area can be accessed from Padstow along the footpath via the lower beach.

You can also drive and park at Lillizzick via Crugmeer and walk down a fairly steep gravel track to the beautiful golden sands of Harbour Cove.  The beach is very wide at this point and nudists set up at the back of the beach with the dunes behind them.
As the beach is so wide here, it’s not an area where one could walk down to the waters edge nude without being noticed by textiles who are there.
I am advised its better suited to just laying on the sand in the sun.

I have visited this area many times and not seen any nudists, although I was not looking for any.  At the time I did not have any aspirations of becoming a nudist unlike now, where I will hopefully strip off next time I’m there.

I wondered if anyone else has used this area for nude sunbathing which backs up what I’ve been told.

I was there many years ago, maybe 20 or more. also Bedruthan Steps 35 years ago. I think that was my first time nude on a beach I was about 20 at the time.
I think any beach is ok especially if there aren't many people about.

I have two holidays of one week duration in Cornwall this year and I'm planning to be nude on Padstow beach on each occasion.
This will be at the far end of the estuary at Lellizzick where the sandy beach is at its widest.  My textile Wife is encouraging me to do it, and I have a feeling she may take her clothes off as well.
