Well what a day, woke extremely early, had provisionally arranged to go to my 1st land club. What a day to arrange that, the sun burnt off the early morning (light) fog, and the sun was great. Set the sat. nav. for my destination near Boston Lincs, and off I set. The closer I got to my destination the more the verse kicked in. When I got to my destination, a very warm welcome from my host's. Still not to sure about protocol registered in at reception and was given a guided tour by one of the owner's. she was dressed some of the time in a towel, only when deliveries were being made to the club or if it was possible to be seen by the nosey neighbours. as I walked around the site the more at ease and over dressed I felt. Half way round the site I had taken my top off and still feeling over dressed, as I so obviously was, soon decide that this was for me and to the car to remove all the remaining clothes and get the reliable towel, for my seating purposes. So back to the hot tub to talk to other member's and straight away invited in, by aman I'd only just met, then his wife joined us in the hot tub as well. The view from there is very nice. Wild fowl filled there lake, the sun beating down on our head's. I'm not and never have been a sun worshipper, but when I got out the hot tub it felt right just to lie down and enjoy the sun. Some of body parts have never seen so much sun but what a great feeling, with the occasional light breeze to keep me from overheating what a fantastic day I've had, and a brilliant start to my naturist life style. Being a tuesday not that many people at the club on that day which made it the best thing for a newbie not to over powering by faces and to much advice. Thanks to the people that were there if they read this, if not still thanks. So that's my first nude experience in public. Mark.

One of my earliest experiences at a proper naturist venue was in Lincolnshire I think (for me a place waaaaay up north far far from people I didn’t dare bump into). I can’t remember what the place was called but it had a lake with a view and geese and a hot tub, and all the people were friendly and understanding. Considering I was still rather shy then (more so than I usually am nowadays) on the whole I enjoyed it. Looking back on it now, I enjoy the memory of it too.
I understand what you mean by going mid-week, so there aren’t too many people (e.g. to stare, to tell you that you’re doing something wrong, crowd out the hot tub, etc). Maybe I’m confusing it with another place, but I think that might be where I first got into a hot tub naked with a man I didn’t know. The funny thing was, just as I got into the hot tub to join NewDeeBoy, this man in his 50s got out and said something like ‘Typical of my luck. Just as I get out the prettiest girl I’ve seen in ages arrives’. Then the woman in the hot tub, also in her 50s, said ‘Hey, I am still here you know and for that you can get us all a drink’. He did too, and NewDeeBoy and I stayed for ages in the hot tub happily chatting and drinking lemonade with the couple in their 50s.
nice story newdeegirl. not my first time to a naturist club but it was when going on my own and it was recently, i did feel that some of the couples were staring at the single guy as if to work out why i was on my own and looking a bit suspiciously at me , i know it was probably in my head and i would have been there with my girlfriend but something came up at the last moment so i was alone, i laid by the pool and got a bit burnt had a jacuzzi and steam and sauna as well and not one person actually tried to speak, i know it was not overly crowded but i thought that one or two of the couples may have said hello. Maybe you might one day.lol
Nice of you to give me feed back, even though I put it on1st experience, for my own thought to be put down on the forum. "horace" Yes I was thinking that i might be ostracized being a lone male. But no, on the contrary the people at the site on the occasion that I visited were very nice and understanding that it was my first time out side (in daylight anyway) and my 1st public exhibition (so to speak). "NewDeeGirl" Yes if you are shy this is a great place to go every one on that day made me feel so welcome and especially as no one there new me at all. Yes the thoughts that go through the mind "are they thinking who's this bloke on his own looking at every one etc". But no I was there for my 1st experience and just what a great day, shame you have to come back down to earth from the euphoria that I was feeling (even my no red bits).
"AsNatureIntended" The club was "Lakeside Farm" other people might disagree with me but these are my personal feeling. I suppose your first in any thing is something special not mate what or how it is.
But this is my 1st and glad I've done it, and hopefully not to be the last. As I tend to work shifts this might be of help for my shyness, or until I get up more self confidence.
