Does anyone know if there are naturist beaches in turkey. We are looking to go somewhere first week of May, and turkey seems quite warm.

Not much opportunity in Turkey it would seem.
It might have had a chance years ago reading that but it has lurched firmly under the fundamentalist side now. There used to be gulet cruises advertised in the naturist magazines in the 80s and early 90s run by a couple. The boat was called Cockatoo, and they offered holidays around Greece and Turkey. I knew that naturist hotel wouldn't be a winner in the current political climate there. It is a pity. The historical sights are outstanding, and Turkey would be a great holiday if naturism was possible.

If you are sticking to Europe the only places where you are going to guarantee naturist weather at the beginning of May are the Canaries and the south of Spain such as Vera Playa.

Yes looks like canaries, wife likes it warm which is why I looked at turkey. Or may look further afield if travelling not too far. Thank you.

They are excellent for advice over the telephone.
Alternatively the Tui hotels at Corralejo, Fuerteventura are on the naturist beach and you can book a package through your local travel agent.

Have enjoyed naturism on the long beach at Patara some years ago.Not sure if it would be possible now?.Lovely and fascinating country none the less! 🙂
