My first time was with my wife over 30 years ago at Irvine beach in Ayrshire. How many of you can remember it?
A great beach where you could find couples, families, groups of youngsters and groups of lads playing football nude.
Was closed as a naturist beach years ago and the cuncil designated Ardeer beach in its place. Terrible beach and backed by the former ICI Nobel explosives factory.
Shame that bigotry and nimbyism from local golfers brought about it's closure.
Best unintentional humour in our local papre was a comment from a golfer thate naked young ladies wallking in sight of the greens put the golfers off their stroke! 🙂
