Hi,
I am interested in attending a site for the first time but would prefer clothing optional rather than strict naturist to begin with. Does anyone have any good names of parks in Northern France i could visit next year?
Thanks
Rob 🙂
A comprehensive list can be found by seaching by category on the french Camping club's site http://www.campingfrance.com/UK/
Click on Search by Features then select Nudist Campsite under General Information.
The rest should be obvious.

I spent 4 days at this site in July: Camping La Pinede , Belz , Brittany. It is a naturist site but I often saw people clothed. I think they may have been families where not everyone was naturist. From that point of view it seemed pretty much c/o.
I should point out that the showers were completely open.
It was my first time at a naturist campsite and I found it completely comfortable. My pitch was near others, but not so near that you felt a lack of privacy.
I would recommend the site to anyone, but it is very quiet. It is only a few miles from a long c/o beach, and Belz has supermarkets etc.
To be honest, at many of the 'france4naturisme' naturist campsites in France you see people naked and people clothed depending on what they are doing - the only stipulation tends to be nudity is compulsory at the swimming pools and beaches. So if you are unsure you can easily wander round dressed or partly dressed until you want to go naked.
Having said that, once you go naked you'll probably not want to dress...!!
