Hi All, We are travaling to provance in June with our caravan.
We will be going via Reims to avoid Paris, does anyone know any overnight stopping place that might suit us.

You might do worse than l'Oliverie near Poitiers.
It is a small natuirst camp site and B&B run by a charming young French couple who do speak English.

Another very good site might be Chateau Guiton, a very pleasant little site slightly further South run by another French couple who both speak excellent English.

We have stayed at both, but beware - when we stopped at Guiton for a couple of nights on our way to the south we found it so pleasant that we didn't get any further.

Edited to add:
I mis-read Rheims as Rennes and gave you some west-coastal route stopovers by mistake.

If you're ready to travel further South on the day when you get to France, you might consider driving as far as Châlon-sur-Saône (about 80 miles before you reach Lyon).
There is a naturist b&b ("gîte") not far from there : see http://www.gitedeschenes.fr/indexen.htm .
They've got a couple of rooms, and a few pitches for carav ans as well. They also have an indoor swimming pool.
Booking is essential, as this is a favourite stop for many Dutch naturists on their way south.
Enjoy your stay in Provence.
