My favourite naturist camp site is Belezy (which is actually spelt Bélézy, with two acute accents). It is near the Rhône valley, like La Sablière, but to the east, not to the west.
Its strong points: it is situated at the foot of Mont Ventoux (6,000 ft +), and you can go walking into the wooded hills from the campsite; it has got a very large swimming pool, a good restaurant, a bar overlooking the pool, a small health centre; it offers a wide choice of activities; there are pitches for camping, but also chalets etc.; easy access to the nearby village, Bedoin (a quarter of an hour on foot).
Its week points: fairly expensive; booking absolutely necessary in the high season; less "wild" than La Sablière, with fences all round, since it is almost part of the village; smaller than La Sablière, so that there are no wild areas within the campsite, all the available space is either built up or used for camping.

Hi Jacques,

You say that there is walking in the wooded hills. Does this include randonnue?

Hi, John,
actually no, I do not think that anyone organizes naked hikes from Bélézy, not that I know of.
And yet the terrain would be just perfect for that, with miles and miles of footpaths and few hikers once you have left aside the rather obvious paths leading to the top of Mont Ventoux.
But there is a very active group organizing "randonnues" from La Sablière.

We holidayed at Belezy for 3 years on the trot...loved the place. Jacques observations are spot on.

What's so funny about peace, love and understanding?
