Last time I was there out of 2 holidays visiting was 2007, not staying I must add, as got in 'under the wire' so to speak by scheduled minibus from Rovinj bus station. The charge for a day was a scandalous £2 or so.

All the usual amenities, a mini market which you have to dress for, large pool, sauna open I think from 4pm for a couple of hours, lots of beach areas, although I don't think it's as good a beach as the old Monsena's. Nice swimming. The washing facilities are immaculate. Plenty of families but peaceful enough as lots of room for everybody. Some of the German permanent outfits with gardens are really something. We admired a lot of lovely caravan units on a stroll around. Mainly German, Dutch, and other mittel Europeans. Those on a Peng package tend to fall on each others shoulders as a distinct minority.

From a friend's reports this year, there are some different excursions on offer as well as the usual 'pish ficnic' which you would also call it after being on grappa from 10am. The memory of being on the boat sailing past dumbfounded tourists in Rovinj harbour is one I'll always treasure. You don't have to stay on the site to partake in the excursions which was nice for us.

They have also seemingly painted the apartment blocks in ice cream colours which must be better than the old grey stalag blocks. The accommodation according to the website has been updated but I wouldn't expect luxury comparable with other places maybe, not that that's been a bother to me as never actually stayed there.

You see quite a lot of people sort of dressed, as probably going to the mini market or the staff so not nude 24/7 like the Cap is, it didn't matter to me as a very low key relaxed place with no chance of people like they 'probably' do at the Cap wandering up just for a peek as inaccessible apart from the road in, well, I assume it is.
