Hi - we're looking to tour in Germany next year and have been looking for naturist campsites in Germany with virtually no success. Does anyone know of any good sites in Germany, or what to look for on the web? I thought the Germans were into nudity so expected to find some good sites. I appreciate that they go nude on a lot of beaches/parks etc but we like the vibe of true nude campsites - surely they must have some?

Thanks Davie - I'll use it to try and sort something out but it's strange that the German sites do not seem to have the various language options that the french/spanish ones do and as my German is pretty poor (I learnt it quickly and forgot it quickly) it makes for difficult work to see what the sites are like.
Germany is to me has some great places but it is a very undiscovered for tourism (apart from the classic coach tours to the Rhine and the Xmas markets...). We'll tour through but may have to just take whatever (textile) camping is available - but it would be a real shame to miss out on a good naturist site just because it is not well publicised.
Hence why I wondered if any other members had stayed at any good sites.

Having lived in Germany and toured with a caravan we discovered that there are, in fact, very few naturist sites.
However, if you check out the European guides, or websites for German campsites many have naturist areas.
As has been mentioned before, look for FKK within the guides. The swimming, sauna etc will invariably be nude.

I've travelled in the past to Germany a lot on business and agree it's a great country - now i want to enjoy it on holiday and will go there even if we can't sort any naturist sites out.
