Hi, I am looking for camp sites in Europe to take our motorhome but my wife does not strip so I am looking for textile camps maybe  but with a naturist beach near or maybe a naturist section so I can stroll over to a different part and leave the wife with the textiles 😉

Any suggestions for this type of site would be great ?

Cheers
Jim

I have the same problem as you, partner Textile ! I have just spent the last 6 weeks looking for a cottage in Cornwall, where I can be naked and not offend anyone. Well at last today have found an isolated secluded cottage. Can't wait. But 1st of all I will be off to Playa Vera on my own, where I can be naked 24/7. Heaven.
Keep searching I'm sure you will find something

There used to be a decent textile site at Phare de la Coubre on the north bank at the Mouth of the Gironde estuary.
The beach was textile immediately outside the camp site becoming increasingly naturist as you walked north.
When we went there my wife said she would be wearing brief bottoms on the beach and not stripping entirely - she bought them especially for the purpose.
They lasted half the first morning.

Thanks John I will do a search and see if I can find the site.

By the way I have found a site in Croatia which has a naturist and a textile side with a naturist beach also, here is the link http://www.plavalaguna.hr/Camping/Zelena_Laguna/About_camp

I have now found the web site at http://www.parc-cote-sauvage.com/en/camping.htm

Edited to add:
We have fond memories of the crepe shack opposite the bar/restaurant and which also did frites. We regularly had aperetifs with frites at an open air table by the bar before returning to the tent for supper.

I can also remember more than one discreet nude walk in the forest.

To be honest, so long as your wife is not offended by nude people, Euronat probably has 35% of its guests clothed all the time. The only areas where nudity is compulsory are the swim pool and the main/busy part of the beach. Go right or left 1/2 mile on the beach and she could be clothed with no hassle. No one bats an eyelid whether you are dressed or not which is what makes it special. in the evening virtually everyone is dressed in normal clothes (it's not like Cap d'Adge). Just a thought.

You never know - she might just get comfortable there, as it is very relaxed, and join you....

As mentioned above about the one in Croatia...and it's not the only one that's 'half and half' there, quite a lot of campsites are co-ed, especially in Istria.

That is a point which I had forgotten - there is so much coming and going at the larger French naturist venues that one could stay fully dressed for one's entire stay without anyone raising an eyebrow.
While I tend to deprecate the amount of clothing worn at these venues, it can be very useful for such people as Jim and Mrs. Jim.
Have a look at France4Naturisme and CHM-Montalivet for typical venues - there is usually no need to book with any of them for a motorhome which means that you can try it for a couple of days which may be a very useful thin end of the wedge.

Edited to add:
The France4Naturisme English representative can be very helpful if you wish to pre-book.

Just another vote for Euronat. We were there in June and there were nearly 50% clothed. As far as the beach is concerned it is large and, at the time of year we went, very quite if you walk a little way from the main car park. After a few days she may feel more comfortable stripping of with hardly anyone no-one around. At least that's what my wife found.
