We've been backpacking in the hills and coast of Scotland the last week or so.
The weather has been unusually warm and dry recently.
Managed a few hours  naked walking on a couple of days in the remote Cairngorms where the dreaded midges have yet to get bitey.
Later in the west, we had a few river and coast sunbathes and dips, but midges and other walkers made us feel less comfortable about hiking there.

First time as weather or insects usually preclude such activities.

The Highlands are brilliant for walking naked but the midges can be fierce. I use Avon's Skin So Soft original dry oil spray. Cheap as chips and very effective.

Along with skin so soft, another anit-midge product is called smidge. We found it works a treat
