with the hot weather I just couldn't sleep last night.i got up at 2am and decided to go for a walk around the estate where I live,i just wore a pair of trainers and off I went .it felt great ,I didn't encounter anyone until half way round then came upon a lady walking her dog.instead of covering up I just carried on until I was in front of her.she made small talk and said how nice it was to see I had no inhibitions and said she wish she had the confidence to go nude,so I invited her to come nude walking anytime she wants..i,ll wait and see.it would be nice to have a nude buddy to go walking with.im going again tonight.
It just goes to show that the attitude of the public portrayed by the press is not what it seems. I think there are a lot more accepting people than we are lead to believe.
It would be fantastic if you gain yourself a walk buddy through such a positive encounter!

I was awake at 03:30 this morning and struggling to sleep with the heat. Thought about just getting up going for a walk and wondering if I should do it nude. Even though it was starting to get light there I didn't think anyone would be around to encounter. Next thing I knew it was 05:30 and the alarm was going off ::).
I take the dog out for a quick walk at this time and there is often a couple of people I see so a bit late for doing at this time.
Ah well, it'll be hot again tonight......

I often go for walks in the middle of the night (clothed) when I can't sleep, through the village I hardly see any one, but on the main road A27 there are a few trucks moving, back in the village again as I do a round trip one or two cars at the most.
I would love to do this naked, but I'm sure someone would report me too easy today with mobile phones. There is another round trip on country lanes, but no pavement or lights so it would be in total darkness not too sure about that one as yet.
If you’re naked on the streets at night passing cars are rarely anything to worry about. Simply standing back in the shadows will mean you’re not seen, as drivers are only interested in the road ahead. Lorry drivers certainly won’t care about you as they’ve got a schedule to meet. I find cyclists are more of an issue, they arrive quietly and with minimal light so (if any).

I have often when it a hot night gone for a naked 4 mile cycle ride and various walks - but we are in the country - very rare there is anyone about. Re dark nights - just wait for a full moon no cloud (common in summer) it almost looks like day time - or go very early morning 3-4 am - first daylight (can be a little chilly - but very rare there is anyone around).

I went out last night for a walk 2.30 am (clothed) no people, but two police cars it is good to know they are doing their night patrols around the village, but I'll think I will give the naked part a miss.

I'll keep an eye out for you! and promise not to report you, only to join you.
Boundaries are there to be stretched!

Did they stop for a chat and find out why you were wandering the streets late at night? You could have been up to no good ... :police:

Actually I was quite surprised that I was not stopped.
I'd urge caution though.
Tried this myself 2am this morning decided to walk the dog round the block. Part of which is on a main road, a few cars passed me but I made it without incident.
I'd already had a two hour walk around 6 but with this weather can't seem to get enough fresh air.
I did it, I've been daring myself to do this for some time now and found a new route through the estate that seems very quiet at night I have done the walk clothed a few times before just to see what is was like.
My choice of clothing as I needed something to put on quick as a just in case was a black longline T-shirt that just finishes below my bottom and nothing else.
At 2 am this morning I looked at the outside temperature it was 11c yes double figures so out I went, it was cool at first, but soon warmed up and I also forgot I was totally naked, the rest of the walk was unhindered and after 2 miles I was back home with a big smile on my face ;D
I went for a naked walk around where a I live at the weekend. I was out for about 2 hours in just walking shoes and socks. I left at midnight and it was quite warm for the time of year.

I'm still afraid to go without taking clothes with me as a just in case which is a shame really.
