Found this to be an excellent beach. It is accessed by heading south along the coast road from La Turballe. When reaching a turnoff to Pen Bron there is a car park on the left. One approach to the beach is to enter the woods on the other side of the road. There are two paths. We found it better to take the one to the right. It is a bit of a walk but it leads eventually to the northern point of the naturist beach. The other approach, is to turn right after the car park mentioned above, towards Pen Bron. After a short distance there is a smaller car park on the right with a planked walkway onto the beach. That takes you to just a few yards south of the naturist area.
The beach is signed "naturism tollerated". We found it to be mainly used by naturists, both couples and singles (of both genders) plus the ocassional family. On a hot summers weekend we found the beach a little too crowded to find a space at, what we consider, a comfortable distance from others. However, on a week day, there was plenty of space and sufficient other naturists not to feel conspicuous. A good proportion of the naturist beach falls within the surviellance area, making swimming safer.
More generally, we liked the area. There are many good cycle routes. As is the custom in France, there are plenty of activities put on in the town for tourists. Heading out of La Turballe on the D92 we found a particularly good art gallery (in a house by the roadside) for anyone who likes coastal scenes. However, some of the other art attractions publicised in the tourist literature were a little disappointing.
It is certainly a location we would recommend.
Long time since I was at this beach but great news to hear its still going strong ;D
