We have been there 2 or 3 years ago now , and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves . No electricity hook ups , but a lovely clubhouse .
It is very hard to describe the inner enjoyment of being naked .
This is a shout-out for the Valley Club at Harrogate, Yorkshire, UK, where we spent a night, last week, while on a five-day visit to Yorkshire.
This time, we could only stay one night, unfortunately, but it seems an ideal base for touring Yorkshire, with easy access to the Dales, Moors, York and especially Harrogate, and an hour-and-a-half from the coast, including Whitby, which is well worth a visit.
Along with lots of members’ caravans, they have a static caravan for hire by visitors, and tent pitches, with good, extremely clean facilities.
We got a really friendly welcome, and the site was pretty and peaceful, so it could be a good venue for people new to naturism or self-conscious.
Given all this, it was disappointing to be told the site is rather underused, despite all it has going for it.
Definitely one to support.
G (a ‘born naturist’) & J (who happens to be married to a naturist, but believes ‘When in Rome...’). See profile for details!
Such a shame to hear this I/we haven't had the opportunity to visit this club as of yet but I have heard a lot of good reports about it and they seem to be a very welcoming group of people, will deffo try and visit in the summer if anyone fancies a trip down..
