Has anyone ever been to the Plage du Layet in the South of France, just to the east of Le Lavandou?
One of the most delicious small naturist beaches that I know, good sand, safe swimming, only a short walk from the road through a wood of pine trees and eucalyptus, ideal for families with kids.
The down side is that such a wonderful place in such an overcrowed part of the world is chock-a-block with bathers throughout the warm season - if you come late in the morning, you might not even find enough space for your towel. Ideal early in the morning or out of season.

Oh, and by the way, the reason why I wrote about Le Layet is that my wife and I had our first naturist experience there... well, a long, long time ago, in the late seventies.
I will write a post about it in the thread about first experiences.

I know it well. We have visited many times, it used to be every other year but hope to make it an annual event.

It is most beautiful. But as you say gets very crowded in the summer.

And the restaurant is excellent, but again can be very busy.
