Once again, I am looking for some advice!!
We will be going to Dubrovnik in Croatia in the late spring, staying in the city itself, so unlikely to have a car at our disposal. Has anyone here got any suggestions regarding naturist beaches in the city area? A quick search has revealed two, Cava FKK beach on the mainland and a nude beach on Lokrum island. Anyone got adviceabout getting to these spots as well as any other beaches they might know of ?
Google maps puts Cava beach here.

Cava is still within the city albeit not within the city walls. It has been turned into an absolutely ghastly bar and beach littered with beds. (info correct last August) There is no place for naturism there which is a great shame
Lokrum beach is a set of rocky outcrops close to the island port. It is quite expensive to get over to the island but you can stay there all day and there is a bar you can go nude at.
The rest of the island is very pleasant but textile.
Some of the hotels have saunas etc where nudity is OK.
There are a couple of recent threads on Dubrovnik as referred above. Unfortunately Dubrovnik is not a great location for naturists unlike much of Croatia. Thanks to cult TV shows, Lokrum makes the few rocks of the nude beach very expensive these days. A better option might be the nude half of Sunj beach on Lopud a short ferry ride away from Gruz Harbour and a small one exists in Mlini and another at the Hotel Croatia in Cavtat, well, paving blocks actually. Hope the weather is kind to you, Dubrovnik has humdingers of thunderstorms on occasion.

Mlini is worth a look and can be reached by bus from Dubrovnik. 🙂

Slight change of plan as we have now found that the accommodation we have booked does in fact have a parking space so we will be hiring a car!
With that in mind, can you give me some information on the Mlini beach, as well as any others a sensible drive from Dubrovnik!!
Mlini beach is in a secluded bay. From the harbour at Mlini follow the coast road south past the hotel Astarea ,which ends just after. Then a short walk to the naturist area consisting of a terrace built by the waters edge with a beach restuarant.Mlini is 9kms south from Dubrovnik while Cavtat is 18 kms south.Loved the quietness of Mlini. 🙂
