Skomer Island

I am hoping to get to Skomer Island has anyone been that can help would i need my telephoto lens and any other tips  i hope to be staying at tything barn from the 19th May

Rule is if you don't take a lens you'll probably end up wanting it. However the puffins are about three feet away in some areas, so it depends on what kind of shots you want to achieve.
A wide-angle would handy for the bluebells which might just last long enough for you.

No need for a special lens, as the puffins are everywhere!

It would be nice if there will be one day a year dedicated to naturists 🙂
will be nice to explore nature in the most natural way.

There is also a dusk trip around the island, as the shearwaters come back to the nests. I found this an amazing boat trip, quite rough so would need to make sure camera is protected. Huge numbers of birds everywhere!

The Puffins are amazingly tame on Skomer, our daughter got some amazing photos.

Being naked is one of the simple joys of life.
