I was up at 3am this morning to take my son to the airport. On my return home the sun was shining the temperature gauge said 13 degrees and it was 6.15 am. I could not resist, so I parked up, stripped off and went for a walk. The sun was fantastic, there was dew on the ground and herds of deer were feeding on heath land. They were not disturbed by my presence and I was close enough to touch them.
I only intended to have a short walk but it was so beautifully quiet and peaceful that it was two hours before I returned to the car.
I may need to review my mornings from now on.
I am glad you have discovered the joys of early morning naked walking at this time of year. I used to do it every morning before I went to work, it really used to set me up for the day.
I was stood in tha garden naked at 4am this morning waiting for the dog to do her business. She keeps very unpredictable toilet hours, but it was a pleasure to be woken this morning.
"Try to live a good life. Don't be afraid to be what you are'. some bloke in the pub.
I’m a newbie, and this is my first reply on NC, so please be gentle, and I apologise in advance for all the mistakes I’m bound to make.
I totally agree. Early morning walks are the best at this time of year, especially when you feel the damp and sometimes wet grass wrap itself around your feet and ankles, and my toes squelch into little puddles hidden by the long grass.
I’m not so keen in the winter when I hear and feel the frosty grass crunch under foot, that’s when socks and boots become the order of the day.
There’s Something Therapeutic About Being Naked
Don't think it will happen to often as I like my bed to much.
If I were to do it before work I'd be reluctant to get dressed to go to work, would probably be late to as I tend to always stay out longer than intended.
I am up in the hills by 7:30 most mornings for 3-4 hours. Get back, have a shower, lunch and then get off to work.
I have trouble sleeping and I'm often wide awake around 3:30-4:00am so go out for an early morning run on my bike rather than just lie there bored, tossing and turning.
Inevitably, I started doing the some of the cycle runs naked when I realised there is virtually no traffic or people around at that time of day.
It's very enjoyable and I usually come across several deer, foxes and heron along the routes, even through built up areas.
