There will be a naked walk in Sherwood Forest 11th July at 11 am. you are welcome if you want to join us. Partners who don't want to strip off are also welcome. There is a link to the parking place Parking place for walk
We will be setting off at 11 am so get there a little earlier, it would be nice if anyone coming could let me know. I will check the weather a couple of days before hand and if necessary to cancel I will post here.

Why are these always in the week? Some of us are still young enough to work you know. 😀

Some of us are old and still working too!! Thanks for making it a Thursday - that is my day off. I will be joining you unless some unforseen thing happens but if it does I will let you know. Do I need to bring a bow and arrows?

Gildo, I would certainly like to attend, other commitments permitting, but I'm unlikely to know until the day before at the earliest.

The link in your post goes to Gleadthorpe Lodge, Netherfield Ln, Meden Vale in Google Maps and then it says 'no results' for that location.  Is this correct? If so, could we have a few more details regarding the car park as this is not an area I know.

This walk was requested by another group and I thought I would invite groups I am involved in. I have an open invitation for anyone who would like to go for a walk even at week ends. I can probably do most week ends during July just let me know when you want to go and I will see if anyone else is interested.

I don't need to know if you are going to turn up just come along if you can make it but be on time or we might be gone without you. When I click the link I can see the parking location which is just an unmade road. Can you see this. If you put your starting point in to google maps it should give you all the directions you need unless you are seeing something different to me.

Thanks for that, now I'm all the wiser. I think I've walked through the forestry to this car park before so should be able to find it from the road.

Its always less than 2 miles an hour when there is a group of walkers unless experienced and used to walking faster. So its going to be at least 3 hours maybe more if people want to stop longer for packed lunch.

If it's any help there is a large sign at the end of the lane that says
Seven Trent Budby on it.
This lane is also part of Route 6 of the Sustrans National Cycle Route.

We would have loved to join the walk but will be at Nudefest. Another time, hopefully. Did do a great walk in Sherwood with Gildo last year and would recommend.

Great walk today with Gildo and several fellow naturists through Sherwood Forest. Good weather, good walking and good company. Met a few cyclists en route, all of whom had smiles on their faces.  Altogether an excellent few hours and if you get the chance in future to walk this area, do it.  Thanks to Gildo for organising and conducting this walk.
