We've only just joined this site/forum and wondered if anyone out there could advise on good naturist beaches in Crete?
Thanks

there are plenty of naturist beaches in Crete, they are mostly in the south of the Island.
I can recommend Plakias and Micro Amoudi.
there is also freshwater which you have to catch a ferry to from chloria skafolon.
good luck i throughly enjoyed the island. 😀 🙂

We went to the wrong part of Crete, north coast east of Irakleon(Stallis!). Despite that we found a small beach at Vai (not the main beach) and that was where we first went nude. The best beaches are in the West and South. Check out Captain Barefoot's Guide on the net for current information. You will almost certainly need to hire a car or Scooter. I believe there are areas of Western Crete where people just don't wear clothes. As with all Greek Islands there are quieter beaches where anything goes, few if any are official naturist beaches.

We allways go to the" fare end" at Plakias, a fantastic beach. Freddie, the sun bed man, is a font of knowledge about the area. We will be in Plakias, at the fare end, from June 28th. Can't wait!!!
