We were there in August, great time spent snorkelling
In the clear warm water.

This is music to my ears, because I am sure we went to Son Bou about 20 years ago with our two young sons and had a lovely time, but never noticed the beach being naturist then. I remember about a 15-20 minute walk from our Hotel on a raised wooden walkway through a pine wood/forest and coming upon this lovely beach. To now find out it’s naturist is fantastic as my wife wants to go away this year and the Balearics were mentioned! Imagine my “surprise” if we should go back to that lovely hotel again!

😎

@marshalldrw I would suggest you'd be better off at Santo Tomas, a little way further westwards along the coast. From there, its about half a mile to the naturist end of Son Bou beach (about the same as from Son Bou itself) and about the same distance to Binigaus beach. I found the Santo Tomas end of Son Bou beach about 50% naturist with plenty of space. Binigaus beach was busier when I was there (September 2019) and probably around 20-25% of people were naturist. Naturists included all ages, including a few children in family groups, although it was term time in most of Europe at that stage. I spent several happy hours on both beaches and no-one seemed to care about nakedness in the slightest.

The other advantage of Santo Tomas, if you wish to travel about and not hire a car, is the availability of buses to either end of the island without having to change.

I love Sant Tomas/ Binigaus! I was last there in 2014 (incredible - it seems more like two or three years!) and it was about 90% nude then (October, outside school holidays I suppose).
