The track from the church and war memorial goes past the houses, gives way to concrete, then through a very rusty 5 bar gate and becomes rough track again. As you have now past the houses (apart from the last two that are on the beach) I felt this was a suitable place to disrobe. One or two people were on the track on both days, a couple of cars went past, no one was bothered, a few people were happy to say hello, including a couple with a young family.
The beach itself had at most 5 people on it both days. The sea was quite warm on the Monday.
I walked the length of the beach and pottered about near the rock pools, admired the washed up jelly fish. I did not stay at the far end, I used the whole beach, no problem.
I was there for about three hours in total, I was there by myself so rather ran out of things to do and have never been one for sun bathing.
There was another naturist couple on the Monday, Dave and Ida form memory, they were nice.
All in all, lovely beach, natives seem friendly. Lovely sand when the tides is out, fascinating geology and the bay is just big enough without seeming endless and there is even a petrified forest for extra interest... the spongy rocks are actually old tree trunks.
I love Marros!
A very beautiful beach, vast and interesting.
I like to spend there a whole day, so I go there when the tide is out at 14:00 or so.
It is a bit far from where I live (more than one hour drive), so I don't go there often.
But when I do, I never regret it 🙂
