Information on the internet seems patchy and unclear. Has anyone here been to Venice Lido beach and/ or Alberoni dunes? If so, what was it like please?
I agree - information is scarce and inconsistent!
Visited Lido last year and you've got 11km of beach to choose from, some of which is very busy other parts less so. There were an amount of topless/thong bathers but I didn't see any nudity. That said there is so much to see and do around the lagoon that spending substantial time on the beach wasn't a priority!
Sorry not to be more help
Update: Trip advisor (requires translation) doesn't paint a pretty picture https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Review-g1092802-d12151644-Reviews-Laguna_del_Mort-Eraclea_Mare_Veneto.html
I don't know the place, but, if it can help, I've seen some websites in Italian. Alberoni is not an official naturist beach and is not listed among places where naturism is tolerated in naturist Associations sites. It seems that the shoreline is textile, some nude men have been seen between the dunes but for other aims.
Laguna del Mort is definitely another place, some km away. A naturist Association goes there and some years ago naturism became official. Now there are many issues also because someone is interested to build a marina

Thank you, yes I have seen those sites too...all a little unclear!
