Now that the weathers taking a turn for the worst, how many others still venturing out on nude hikes. I'll be out in the New Forest all year round as long as it's dry and not blowing a gale.

I do but it depends on the weather i.e. if the sun is shining and no cold wind it can be quite pleasant even in low temperatures, when its dull, wet and windy - I keep my clothes on.
As long as its not too breezy (I live on the east coast!! lol) I'll have a wander along Winterton/Horsey/Waxham dunes. Well known area in the warmer months for unofficial naturist sunbathing, so why not a naked ramble in the autumn/spring?
Keeping an eye on the weather forecast for tomorrow.
Be naked- be free
I walk the hills naked every weekday. Usually the walks last between three and four hours at a time. I walk in all weathers as long as the temperature is no lower than minus 2c. Last year I only wore clothes five times on my daily walk.
I did an eight mile walk on Monday. It was all open countryside with an unpleasant edge to the breeze and at one point there was rain in the air. I did walk naked but for not as long as I would really have wished.
Its good to walk naked throughout the year but in winter it does require minimal wind and no rain.
I hope to venture out again soon

My hope has been realised!
Having seen the sun shine this morning and Mrs D having a hair appointment, I took off and went for a walk, just short of nine miles. It was sunny and warm to start with but the clouds appeared during the late afternoon. Even so it was warm enough to be naked. I wanted to walk round the edge of an area I frequently walk through. There were a couple of parts walking on the road, one a main one. I also came out of a footpath near a restaurant. I was dressed at these points but I did mange to walk a fair distance as nature intended.... and now its raining so I'm pleased I grabbed the opportunity.

I'm looking to explore further away from a walk I went on a couple of weeks ago at Burnhope Reservoir and that was 6 degrees not bad at all but the air temperature can seem a lot cooler if there is a breeze.

Brrrr. To voor for me in the winter
The first nippy day of the year. With windchill it was a shade lower than minus 2c. The wind was a constant 15mph. It felt colder when i got dressed 3 hours later.
Headed up my local fell today in the pouring rain with no clothes, not too bad temperature wise, at least no one was out in it. Very exhilarating and rather special, the sun came out as I reach the top, relatively mild. Once I stopped walking though got little chilly so come down in shorts and hoodie.
Soul Naked and True
This is a great thread. It shows that cold and wet aren't bad things they just make the experience different. Just remember safety first.
Managed a hike in the New Forest Friday evening after work, just to catch the last hour of daylight. Windy and a light drizzle to start, but setting a brisk pace still kept surprisingly warm, even when the rain hardened towards the end.
Won't be able to do that gain for a while now with the clocks going back. Limited to weekends until spring, unless I book some time off. Roll on retirement... 🙂

Dont say that. I walk in minus 2c :-).
My better half says that one day i will be found dead in the hills. Naked, struck by lightning. She is now suggesting i get a PA and other piercings 🙂

I have to ask, Hillwalker...don't you feel the cold!!?...I had a lovely walk along Monknash beach very recently and even showered under a waterfall...but it was about 14C and got less as the afternoon drew on...I dont want to stop my naturist excursions but I think the cold would get to me...what's your secret!!??
And as for the nude bloke on a bridge (I doubt he's a naturist )...yes, a' first timer' , taking a selfie to prove to his mates he's got guts enough to jog nude in a very public place !!.. but on a footbridge where 'escape' is easy is a bit of a cop out I think
One life...live it !...there is no rehearsal!
