Hi everyone - can anyone provide information on beaches in this area?
Don't think the link worked. (well it did'nt for me)
I have not visited Nerja, but many beaches in Spain are nudist tolerant. There are some stunning beaches a bit further up the coast, (around 40-50 miles), at Almeria.

Cantarrijan and Almanate are very good naturist beaches either side of Nerja.

Cantarrijan is lovely but you need a car. I don't think you can get to it via public transport. The main Burriana beach in Nerja looked firmly textile to me. Pity, as we loved Nerja when we went there one day, and if there was an easily accessible nude beach as we don't really want to hire a car we could be persuaded to stay there for a week or so.

Yes you will most likely need a car but we always have a car anyway. I'm quite shocked at how few people skimp on this essential piece of kit when they are using their valuable holiday time. But I have to confess that i have lived in USA and they are essential there.
Also above Nerja is an isolated valley of the Rio Chillar. I have read that this can be walked nude and has ample skinny dipping ops. But not got round to visiting ourselves yet.
