I did my first short nude bike ride this morning. The weather forecast looked very bright and sunny from 6am to 8am, so i got up early and at 6am I was on my bike heading towards the shore path through a park in the glorious sunshine. It's very popular with dog walkers and I reckoned no-one would be about that early, or very few at most. In the event, there was only one elderly couple walking their dog and once past them I undressed at the first opportunity. The view along the path is quite clear, except around a few bends so I would get plenty of notice if anyone else came along. I cycled a mile to near the end where the path enters a housing estate, turned round and cycled back to my original changing spot without meeting anyone. The sensations were like when I went on my first nude walk and I have to say I felt much fresher with the air all over my body than I did wearng my cycling gear - I think it's addictive. I got dressed again and withn a minute the elderly couple were in view, on ther return leg too. I'm not sure if they saw me cycling nude, but perhaps it wouldn't have mattered as I now recognised the lady as the organiser of the art class where I do life modelling, so we stopped and had a chat for a few minutes before heading home

Well done Colin. I have to say that I am envious. The other day I cycled (dressed) to a woodland area and then had a naked walk and cycled home again dressed. I live in an area that is lovely for cycling but too crowded to consider going naked. I think that I will have to do some exploring and see if I can find somewhere. I am disappointed that the WNBR are cancelled as that was on the cards for this year.

Don't give up on the naked bike ride as Southampton organisers are saying some will go ahead in September so fingers crossed, just hope it's not too cold
September is less than ideal for me but let's hope some do go ahead and I will certainly try to get to one or more. Following Colins comments it has encouraged me to jump out of bed early and go for a naked ride. I have to go into work as a volunteer tomorrow morning and to get there at a reasonable time I will need to leave pretty early so hopefully a long part of it could be done naked.

Had the chance last summer to ride alone morfa dyffrin beach at sunrise before the masses started to arrive, stop and take a swim while filming with a gopro the suns rays persing the water in shafts of light below the surface, amazing. 😊
I've only been to that bit of Wales once, but I recall seeing a very odd looking track, a tyre mark, but weaving excessively. A little later I realised it was a chap on a unicycle. Splendid! 🙂
I think was Morfa Dyffrin, but it could easily have been Harlech beach too. That goes on for an amazingly long time and when I was there it was utterly empty. Just as I like it.
I did another naked bike ride a few days after my first one and this time I was most definitely seen. I didn't intend to go for a naked ride but I was on a country path and it was much quieter than I expected. I passed only a few people going on the opposite direction, and having cycled up a steep hill to get there I was very hot and sweaty. Looking ahead I could see for at least a mile along the path and it was deserted, it was 5 minutes since the last person passed me, so off came my gear and off I went again. It was instantly refreshing. I covered the mile I had initially seen was clear and it still looked clear as far ahead as I could see, so I carried on. After a few more minutes I was rounding a long lazy bend that goes through a semi-circle and I could see each end and all points in between, I noticed a movement at the side of the path. What I had assumed was a rock was actually a man in a grey top.. He had been bent over and I coudn't see his head, then he turned round and saw me. There was no point in tryng to cover up so I carried on and said a cheery good evening to him and then saw he was around 20 years old and in an embrace with his girlfriend. By that time both were looking at me with amusement but neither said anything. I carried on for another 5 minutes or so and with getting to within a mile of the end of the path I got dressed again.
After reaching the road and continuing my ride I was passing another path where I have previously walked naked so I went off road again. After a mile I had passed only two people heading in the opposite direction so I undressed again and spent the next 6 miles cycling naked, 3 miles out and three miles back. Overall I must have cycled naked for about 8 miles.
Actually, does this count as my second and third naked bike rides, lol?

I don't believe I was ever spotted - but there are few things to surpass a nude bike ride on a grand day.
