Just come back from a week in a villa in the mountains of Gran Canaria and spent a day on the Naturist beach in Maspolomas while we were there.
All in all, very nice place. It's about 800mtrs walk from the main resort area in between 2 textile areas.
It's a more mature crowd and we didn't hear any other British sounding voices.
Sun loungers for rent or for those tight wads like me, just plonk down a towel and enjoy the sun.
Villa was great though and the boys had their first taste of just kicking about without swimmers on. Both enjoyed it at the villa but kept their stuff on at the beach.
All in all, a cracking week. 🙂
It's choice not chance that determines our destiny.
Just back from Christmas brake staying in up market IFA Faro Hotel Maspolomas. Wonderful FKK roof facility made sunbathing much more pleasent when the wind got up. Don't like being sand blasted!

Great to hear you had a good time on Gran Canaria.
We're always on the lookout for villa accommodation there - I'd be very interested to know where you stayed if you are willing to share the details?
Thanks, Mike

Wow Baz, that terrace does look inviting! I imagine the views over the sea and beach from up on the roof are impressive too. We haven't stayed at the hotel, but I'd often wondered what the naturist terrace was like, so thanks for posting the pic!

Sadly I don't think you will get an answer judging from when this topic was created and the "last active" date of GasperB i.e over 7 years ago.
It must be wonderful to stay in a villa though.
I am off to GC next week to escape the cold, so will no doubt be on the beach a few times. Hopefully it won't be too windy or I will find a sheltered spot in the dunes.

Oops - thanks for drawing my attention to that! Hadn't spotted the date of the post - doh! 😉

There was 25 loungers plus tables, parasoles. Nice clean toilets and a shower with hot/cold water. Best was the lush artificial grass underfoot, superb.

I've put this hotel on my summer holiday list! Could be perfect!

I knew that view along the beach would be stunning - thanks again! 🙂

We are off to GC tomorrow. Staying in Taurito but hope to get a trip in to Maspalomas while we are there if we can get away from our non-naturist friends.
We are in Gran Canaria tomorrow staying in Playa del Ingles, will be down on the beach regularly, near kiosk no4

We always say it Taurito and will be back in a few weeks. There is a small naturist beach only a few minutes away...Medio Almud. The local bus even stops at it. Mostly pebble but sheltered. Between Taurito and Playa Del Cura. Worth a try.
We are regular visitors to Maspalomas, it seems that a lot of people head for kiosk No 4, mind you it is a lovely beach
We got back from GC last weekend and I'm still playing catch up after 3 weeks away so this is my first time back on NC.
Managed one day on Maspalomas in our first week (10 or 11 Jan); it was very windy but we eventually found a spot by the dunes near the first naturist area which was more sheltered (and not being used as a toilet). I went for a walk along the beach to the point where it turns toward Playa del Ingles - probably around a kilometre from where we were. A great feeling to be able to walk a good distance without clothes.
In our last week (25 Jan) we had a few hours on El Media Almud which was our first time there. As garyj144 says it is mostly pebble but nice and sheltered and with easy access. We parked our hire car by the road and walked down. It was well used, mostly by couples.
We were in playa del Ingles (based there)and maspalomas from 17th Jan returning 1st Feb. First week was fab with temps up to 27deg C but second week was wet and windy with temps down to 15C. Still got plenty of nude time tho....
Going back to maspalomas next Jan!
