Myself and another naturist went for a walk in Sherwood Forest yesterday 10th Oct. We encountered 3 youngsters on motor bikes who uttered 2 words of abuse after trying to wet us with a puddle then coming back with one on the back of one bike with his mobile phone pointing at us.

We started walking after they disappeared. We met two other naturists so we had a good chat and walked in the sunshine. Other people and cyclists were friendly and said hello or just went by without speaking. All in all, apart from the start, it was very enjoyable to also catch up with friends

It was nice to meet up with you while I was out on a walk on my own.

I think Saturday was the better day. I deliberately avoided a family that were chestnutting and walked up the tarmac road, as I turned off of it I was met by a couple, I spoke to them and by chance we all turned down the same path, the guy said " don't be worried about us we're fine with you being naked, we were all born that way after all." I thanked him saying I wished everyone were as understanding. " hey mate there are enough notices around if folk don't like it they should walk elsewhere" was his reply. I walked with them for a while until we reached their little camp set up among the trees. " If you head back this way later your welcome to join us for a beer and a burger." Had I not been going out for tea I might have done.

Why can't everyone have this attitude.

Later the same day as I walked across the common I could see a jogger with two dogs, he circled the common and approached me from behind. One of his dogs was tethered so I stopped and restrained mine guessing his was nasty. As I stopped I said hello and waited for him to pass, as he did so he stood and looked at me as if I'd got three heads. Now bearing in mind I'd seen him for at least ten minutes and he had come up behind me for quite a while, I couldn't understand the look of surprise on his face.

Later I tried to figure whether it was a look of shock, disgust or total bewilderment.

Yesterday I saw the warden but not to speak to, I see the cows have gone and the sheep have arrived.

Getting a bit nippy by the time I get out but still making the most of it.

He was probably putting it on to make a statement.
