Managed a great walk yesterday starting off at the little cafe at PPistyll Rhaedr near Llanrhaedr-ym-Mochnant (that'll beat the spell checker!) and up on to the moors above. I walked over the tops and looked down onto Llangynog before getting to the summit of Post Gwyn at 665 metres.

It was a bit chilly there so I dropped down and then went up to a very cold Moel Sych at 827 meters before dropping back down to a welcome coffee at the start.  😕

Apart from the last section from Meol Sych - two shirts required up there I was au natural for most of the walk only covering up when I saw the only other four people, and two of those were together.

A really great day out.  🙂

Excellent Davie,

I only wish I had that much empty space somewhere near home.

Thanks for sharing that.

Have fun,

Ian.

Looks like you've pinched my hat! I did wear it - as you'd expect but it kept blowing off!!!  🙁

Had to resort to wearing my buff later i.e. in the buff but not in the buff  😀

There were plenty of sheep but as you'd expect they ran off when they saw me coming, and who can blame them.  😮

You admit to having English friends? I'd look behind you occasionally, talk like that can cause problems...   🙂

Have fun,

Ian.

We appear to be getting several welsh walkers in the Somerset Strolling Bears who do not realise we are in England 🙂

A new member has just joined from Cardiff area searching for other welshmen. Need to do some networking here. You are very welcome to use my site and here for the welsh walking contingent  Getting together is what we really need to do.

Running Bear

Thank you for your invitation. It was good to a. Get out on the hills  b. Get naked at the same time.

I don't get the opportunity as frequently as I'd like.  🙁

Not exactly an invitation but a comment that there appears to be several welshmen walking alone. A group walk would seem to be a good idea and it would stimulate all to walk more often. There is power in a group while a lone walker is seen as threatening.
One naturist man is up to no good, two naked men are 'queer', three naked men are a naturist group is my mantra 🙂 Put a sprinkling of girls in and it is atmospheric.
Forgot to say loved the walk report.
