Naturism is also officially allowed in a new beach in Sardinia. The beach is called Is Benas, in the municipality of San Vero Milis, in the western coast of Sardinia (there are other beautiful naturist beaches like Piscinas and Porto Ferro). It is a sandy beach famous because is full of shells.

That's good to know, it's an island we would like to visit (have done Corsica) but I was unsure if there was any naturist beaches or opportunities. Any other recommended areas or places to stay?
There are two other official beaches in Sardinia, both on the west coast.

There is also a naturist camping in the opposite side. It is close to the sea but on hills. their website is http://www.clublepeoniesardegna.it/
There are so many beaches in Sardinia. Leaving aside the beaches near the cities and the more luxurious areas of the Costa Smeralda (north-east side), there are many other unofficial beaches frequented by naturists.
Our association is working with some municipalities and administators and seems that more beaches will be authorized soon
